Vapiano in Bonn

I have to say that I used to like it better because of the larger selection. The portions have become smaller and the coordination of the staff still has potential for improvement. All in all, we are happy to be guests here.

Waited half an hour for my food, the only one who was competent was the woman at the information counter! The rest of them were rude and, in my opinion, incompetent.

Much better than before! The new ordering system is pleasant and relaxed, especially for families with children! The staff is also very nice and accommodating! Thank you and look forward to our next visit.

The entire concept is completely incomprehensible to me. Every canteen is better positioned there!

Nice place for drinking coffee

Been there today after reopening. I mean something else by hygiene. The table should be disinfected after each guest. Which wasn't the case. The table is also close to the passage area so that there is not enough space. What a shame. And there was still some dried sauce on the wall.

Food is delicious, but this atmosphere takes getting used to. I could be a little quieter overall, but that's a matter of taste. Unfortunately the staff is a total disaster. There is no you, please let alone thank you. So I think depending on who is at the table, but it always feels like when we are there the staff is very unfriendly to us and also seems very annoyed to take the orders. It's a shame because otherwise it tastes good.

Always great to be able to eat with them after school but I'm always late for sports because of them :( PS: I also ask for mini pizzas for adults

Too loud. You hardly hear the person you are talking to ... The waitress is in a bad mood and aggressive. Delicious meal! I had to wait 25 minutes for my meal.

The waiting time is extremely long. (From the food) The food tasted better a few months ago. The dishes smelled extremely of vinegar so that you couldn't really enjoy the food. Very severe nausea after eating: / Will only have to go to Vapiano to drink cafe.

The food is getting more and more expensive and the portions smaller and smaller. In terms of taste, Vapiano is absolutely fine, although everyone sees it differently.

Very tasty food but I only have to give it three stars because of the system and the staff.

I found Vapiano better before Corona. There was more choice of noodles and the portions were better. I ordered to take away. At home I saw that I only had 2 shrimp, hardly any vegetables and 2 pieces of meat. Is a joke for Reef'n Beef 11.45 euros. It didn't taste good. I'd rather go for sushi. Vapiana again ... no only when Corona is over at some point! Maybe it's better...

Very dissatisfied. Have always enjoyed eating there, but unfortunately we didn't like it after the reopening. We wanted chili, for example, and was simply left out ... Wrong noodles ... very dry and not cooked through ... And the bread was also stingy. Either we were unlucky or it has gotten really worse than before. Too bad. There is one star for the appropriate corona conditions (e.g. disinfection at the entrance).

Thursday 03.09.2020 7:30 p.m. My visit to the Vapiano Bonn Ollenhauer Fine arrival. The lady at the counter tried to instruct us properly. The new menu is not successful (my opinion, but no point deduction. Few dishes, mostly the same dishes as before the closure, only fewer. But the prices are so unjustified. When the Vapiano opened at the time, a portion of penne Bolognese cost € 6.75, now € 10. Our table: The food from the previous guest was still with us for a full 25 minutes, the table was dirty. After we placed the order, the 1st dish came after about 5 minutes. I waited 30 minutes for the second dish, my companion had finished the pizza when I just hated my dish there. The manager took my displeasure about the waiting time 0 seriously and the dish itself was qualitatively an absolute disaster (Penne Carbonara). Pasta was softer than ever and it just didn't taste good. There was no bread either. I then did without the dessert, which I would have liked to have eaten. The complaint at the cash desk was then referred to in an excited tone about the occupancy rate of the staff and the number of guests (at 50% utilization by virus measures?). Dear Vapiano team, I ask you, you have a new owner, why is the restaurant visit still as bad as it was before the bankruptcy. Especially at this time, a guest should leave the restaurant with the biggest smile so that guests can visit you in the future. All in all, it was a very sad evening.

It's is perfect for quick business lunches. I like their pasta and will come back for more

Too expensive for puzza and pasta

Love the food! Good place to go with kids, kids menu are really affordable for the portions. Also if dont want to wait much this place is good. Recommendations are tomato soup, gorgonzolla gnochis and tuna piza. Our fav spot in city

Fun, friendly staff. Risotto mushroom favorite! Blueberry cheese cake Awesome, lemon espresso even better!

The food is good! Even though I don't really like restaurant chains in general. Of course no comparison to the real Italian from the neighborhood but still good! Ambience okay if you like to sit in a restaurant with 200 people.

By lucky accident this particular Vapiano was not bursting at the seams with people when I went for lunch with colleagues. Normally it's packed full and anything BUT "piano". This time, however, it wasn't loud, wasn't slow, and the whole experience ended up being quite nice.

The food is OK, but the self-service canteen approach isn't very appealing. The food isn't ready any quicker than in a normal restaurant, and considering you aren't paying for serving staff, the prices are not really good value.

Vapiano - the italian semi-fast food, with card based ordering - you pay when you go at the cashier. And the most important you can choose wholeweep pasta too!!!

Great taste

That’s one of the best Vapiano you may find. Standard self-service concept restaurant with nice design, decent bar (with proper espresso), spacious terrace and discounted takeaway options. The food is good, but nothing outstanding...slightly higher prices that you expect for such kind of place. Appreciate the concept, but there is still much to be improved in queue management and cardless payments.

Classy food with fast and innovative service.

Fast-food like concept where you don't get served by waiters but instead go to the cook and watch your dish cooked in front of you. The food is generally very good and the process is fast enough, unless the place is very busy (which does tend to happen around lunch). A bit pricey but definitely worth checking out.
